WORKSHOP I

A Day In the Life of a Brand Manager

JOHNSON & JOHNSON, CONAGRA, GENERAL MILLS, DANONE NORTH AMERICA, BEAM SUNTORY, and PANERA BREAD.

During this interactive session, attendees will be exposed to a day in the life from corporate representatives. Additional context will be provided from personal stories of what the challenges of brand management are, how to navigate those challenges, what success looks like, and what keeps them excited about the working the next day.

WORKSHOP II

BRAND MANAGEMENT 101

During this interactive session, students will be exposed to the business challenges of managing a brand. The experience will be structured with guidance in order to push students to think about running the business of marketing.

WORKSHOP III

PERSPECTIVES FROM CPGs

JOHNSON & JOHNSON, CONAGRA, GENERAL MILLS, DANONE NORTH AMERICA, BEAM SUNTORY, and PANERA BREAD.

During these interactive sessions, students will be exposed to the business challenges and opportunities of understanding and leveraging building a community experience with elements of local engagement from a supply chain and marketing perspective.

WORKSHOP IV

NETWORKING RECEPTION

Corporate representatives from JOHNSON & JOHNSON, CONAGRA, GENERAL MILLS, DANONE NORTH AMERICA, BEAM SUNTORY, and PANERA will be present to provide additional context and answer questions. Relationships make a difference, so this experience may provide an opportunity to establish new relationships.

WORKSHOP V

PERSPECTIVES IN A RETAIL SETTING

Building on the Consumer Product Goods experience, students will literally take a journey to understand what this means during a retail store visit experience guided by a brand manager.

WORKSHOP VI

RECRUITING BEST PRACTICES

In this session, professionals will discuss their workshop and recruiting strategies. We recommend that you push them to share both their best practice and “wish I would have known” perspective. Use this session to help develop a winning game plan for the recruiting season.

WORKSHOP VII

BRAND MANAGER OF THE DAY

The case-study hands-on experience will be structured with guidance to push students to think about running the business of a brand. Participants will gain a perspective on how to execute a strategy while leveraging cross-functional teams.

WORKSHOP VIII

NETWORKING LUNCHEON

Relationships make a difference, so this experience may provide an opportunity to establish new relationships by networking with representatives from JOHNSON & JOHNSON, CONAGRA, GENERAL MILLS, DANONE NORTH AMERICA, BEAM SUNTORY, and PANERA.

WORKSHOP IX

INFORMATIONAL INTERVIEWS

For a select number of attendees, you will have the opportunity to participate in an interview with as part of the recruiting process to be considered for the Brand Camp hosted later this year.

For a select number of attendees, you will have the opportunity to participate in a phone informational interview or in-person interview followed.
